Frames
Frame Measurements and Fit
Frame measurements have lens height, lens width, bridge width, and arm length.
Most frames have the frames size on the inside temple leg of the frame. It will appear like: 50 20 140. This means your lens width is 50 millimeters (mm) your bridge (nose) width is 20mm and your temple leg length is 140mm. To find frames that will fit you best do (Lens Width + Bridge Width - Your PD). This number should be 10mm or less for best fit.
Frame Shapes
The shape of your face affects what types of frames will look best on you. Here are some tips to help find frames that best fit your face shape.
Your Face Shape
Is your face Oval, Square, Round, Diamond, Rectangle, Triangle? Look in a mirror, or ask your family or friends. Also consider the size of your features – petite face or large features? With a smaller, more petite face you will typically want smaller frames.
| Oval Face: | This is the most common of the face types and an oval face is considered to be well-balanced. This type can wear just about any eyeglass frame type. Try to find eyeglass frames that are as wide as (or wider than) the broadest part of your face. |

| Square Face: | The square face is characterized by a wide forehead, cheek, and chin. Experts recommend a round or oval shaped eyeglass frame. |
| Diamond Face: | People with a Diamond Shaped face have a small chin and wide temple area. Try rimless, oval or butterfly shaped eyeglass frames. |
| Round Face: | Try a geometric or angular type of eyeglass frame. |
| Rectangular Face: | For this long narrow face with a square chin, try frames with rounded bottom lines, and strong top bar. |
| Triangular Face: | This face has a very wide top third and small bottom third. Try square shaped frames. |
